What is Package Protection and Shipping Insurance?
Shipping insurance protects your order in case it is lost, stolen or damaged during transit. Because wigs and hair pieces are high-value items, this small optional fee ensures that if anything happens to your package, we can quickly replace it for you without a long carrier investigation.
Why do we offer it?
Hair products are expensive, and standard carrier policies often do not cover full replacement value. Shipping insurance gives you peace of mind, faster resolutions, and priority support if the unexpected happens.
What does it cover?
- Lost packages
- Damaged items during shipping
- Stolen packages (police report required)
- Faster replacement or refund processing
Is it required?
NO! — but highly recommended for high-value orders as it gives you peace of mind!

What do I have to do to file a claim?
We want to make this process as easy as possible in the event of loss or damage.

Lost packages
- Your claim must be filed within 7 days of the last tracking movement--you must provide tracking number for the lost package.

Stolen package:
- To file a claim please provide a police report stating that your package was stolen that includes the date, time, and item stolen.

Damaged during shipping

To file a claim please provide a photo of damaged package and product. Product will need to be returned to Rooted in Grace.
